Albert Tom, MD


Albert Tom, MD, FAAOS is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS). He received his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) of New York at Syracuse in Syracuse, NY and completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Tom was fellowship trained in sports medicine by Robert A. Arciero, MD, at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, who is the current president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). He has conducted extensive research on sports medicine and orthopedic surgical options and has been featured in multiple medical journals as an expert in the orthopedic field.

His clinical interests include Arthroscopic Surgery of the Shoulder and Knee, Joint Replacement Surgery of the Shoulder, Knee and Hip, General Orthopedic Surgery and Fracture Surgery.
